Turkish Red Lentil Soup

Method

1. 1Rinse the lentils until the water runs clear.
2. 2Sauté the chopped onion and carrot in butter for 5 minutes, add the flour and stir until fragrant.
3. 3Add the lentils and hot water and simmer for 25 minutes until the lentils fall apart.
4. 4Blend, season and serve with lemon.
