Crochet Round Double-Layer Dish Scrubber (Lif)

1. 1First circle: rounds 1-5With A, make a magic ring. Work in a continuous spiral without joining, moving the marker up to the first stitch of each round. Round 1: 6 sc in the ring (6). Round 2: inc in each st (12). Round 3: *1 sc, inc* 6 times (18). Round 4: *2 sc, inc* 6 times (24). Round 5: *1 sc, inc, 2 sc* 6 times (30).
2. 2First circle: rounds 6-10Round 6: *4 sc, inc* 6 times (36). Round 7: *2 sc, inc, 3 sc* 6 times (42). Round 8: *6 sc, inc* 6 times (48). Round 9: *3 sc, inc, 4 sc* 6 times (54). Round 10: *8 sc, inc* 6 times (60). Sl st into the next stitch, cut the yarn leaving 10 cm and fasten off.
3. 3Second circleWith B, make a second circle exactly like the first (60 sc). Don't cut the yarn after the last sl st; you will use it to join. Put the two circles side by side and check they are the same size.
4. 4JoiningAfter weaving in the ring tails, place the circles together with wrong sides facing and circle B towards you. Work 1 sc in each pair of matching stitches through both circles (60 sc). Before the last 10 stitches, tuck the tail of circle A between the layers and crochet over it.
5. 5Hanging loopAt the end of the joining round, ch 12 and sl st into the same stitch. Work 14 sc into the loop and finish with a sl st.
6. 6FinishingFasten off and weave the end through the joining round with the yarn needle. Being double-layered, the scrubber holds lather for a long time but needs air to dry; squeeze it out after use and hang it by its loop.
